The mission of the Greene County Industrial Development Authority is to work collaboratively with the local, regional, state and nation to promote economic and industrial development and growth in Greene County and West Alabama.
- It is also the mission of the Industrial Development Authority to work with existing industry to grow their companies in the immediate area and to work to attract new industry to the area.
- It is the mission of the Industrial Development Authority to develop partnerships and alliances to promote the Crossroads of America Port and Park located in Boligee, Alabama immediately adjacent to the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway, Interstate 20/59 and served by a Class 1 railroad.
- It is the mission of the Industrial Development Authority to work with workforce training and development agencies as well as the local school systems to prepare our citizens for gainful employment.
